Case Study
UEFA Euro 2024 Exhibition
For UEFA EURO 2024, the German Football Museum in Dortmund is showcasing the exhibition "In Motion - Art & Football." This immersive installation features 175 works of art, including pieces by René Magritte, Paul Klee, and Banksy, spread across 1,000 square metres. The exhibition concept mirrors the structure of the European Championship: every participating nation in UEFA EURO 2024 is represented by at least one artist, emphasising the idea of a diverse and united Europe.

The audio solution
The central installation includes two large projections measuring 17.5 and 26.5 meters wide, along with four smaller projections. The immersive experience is enhanced by a 21 speaker audio system, providing visitors with an extraordinary listening experience that complements the visual art. To create this immersive experience, a variety of speakers have been discreetly positioned on the ceiling to avoid interfering with the projections. The setup includes eight surface-mounted speakers, four pendant speakers, and four Audac subwoofers, all powered by an Innosonix MA16/D² . The number of Dante channels available with the MA16/D² allowed for a more streamlined integration with the media server employed to produce the soundscape. The end result was a soundscape that enveloped the room. Depending on the visitor's location, the system offers different auditory experiences that perfectly synchronise with the images being projected.
